Night Visual Flight Rules (NVFR)
The requirements for helicopter NVFR comprise of a minimum of 50 VFR helicopter flight hours and 5 flight hours, 20 starts and landings and a cross-country flight under NVFR conditions.
- Approved models for night vision airfield circuits: R22, R44, AS 350, AS355
Models approved for cross-country flights: AS 350, AS355
Safety training
For private and commercial pilots we offer individual emergency procedure courses on all models of helicopter which we use.
We can arrange an appropriate programme on request.
PPL - Conversion
If you already have a PPL licence there is an excellent opportunity to acquire an "add on". Depending on your experience with motorised flight you are allowed to count up to 20 hours for the helicopter pilot training. Interdisciplinary subjects can be counted in full.
